Donkey

Donkeys are social animals and prefer to live with a companion. They feel very lonely and depressed without a companion and remain healthier and happier when paired up. There are various breeds of donkeys but jennet or gelding makes the most loving pet as they are very affectionate, intelligent and can easily be trained. These sweet animals respond well to the right training, and will be faithful companions for life. Pasture grass is their primary food but they can also have good horse-quality Bermuda hay as their diet as it is a very good source of nutrition. They can be found in variety of colors but Gray-dun is the predominate color apart from black, brown, white, sorrel etc.
