American Fuzzy Lop RabbitThe American Fuzzy Lop is a rabbit breed determined by the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA). It is similar in appearance to a Holland Lop. The American Fuzzy Lop appears same as the Holland Lop with the exception of its wool. ! They have wonderful personalities and are also great for showing. They are furry and cute and can be very loving and affectionate. Both males and females are very sweet and make excellent pets though females can sometimes be a bit more shy and skittish. The American Fuzzy Lop weighs 3.5 - 4.0 pounds as an adult. They have a much squashed body that appears very muscular. They come in most of the familiar ARBA colors. The ears of the American Fuzzy Lop do not stand erect, but rather lop along the side of the face. They have a short and flat muzzle similar to that of a bulldog. Weight: 4.3 pounds maximum, Females: 4.2 pounds maximum Physical Attributes: The American fuzzy lops is a very round breed with a short, wide face and short, lopped ears. The fur is long, and it comes in variety of colors. Several groups of colors include: agouti, broken, pointed white, self, shaded and solid. There are 19 recognized show colors. Personality: American fuzzy lops tend to have a wide variety of temperaments. Some are very calm and friendly, while others are quite hyper and skittish. Males tend to be calmer, whereas females tend to be shyer. |
